October News from the Building Project

We have been working hard in the background on our building project and heard from the Diocese at the end of September with a tentative timeline for the rest of our project. Please continue to keep the success of this project in your prayers!!


  • Initial Steps: Self-Study and Diocesan Preliminary Approval– Complete 
  • Hiring the Architect – Preliminary contract complete; final contract awaiting approval 
  • Site Plan and Schematic Design – Complete and approval by the Diocesan Building  Commission/Bishop
  • Finance Plan Approval – In Process; working with the diocesan finance staff for review
  • Design Development: 2-3 Months, depending on Parish and Architect
  • Design Approval by Diocesan Building Commission/Bishop: November 2025 [delayed to January 2026]
  • Detailed Construction Documents approved by Diocese ±3 Months 
  • Project Bidding, Negotiations, Contract, and Permitting 4-6 Months
  • Construction and Completion 12-14 Months


We are excited to be moving forward as we are Growing in Grace!


We also received the altar for our new church, and it is beautiful! It is on display in our Atrium to enjoy while we await the construction of our new church.

ACTUALIZACIÓN DEL PROYECTO DE CONSTRUCCIÓN


Hemos estado trabajando arduamente, y al final de septiembre la Diócesis nos confirmó la etapa del proceso y nos proporcionó un cronograma tentativo para el resto del proyecto. ¡Por favor, sigan orando por el suceso de este proyecto tan importante!


  • Pasos iniciales: Autoestudio y aprobación preliminar diocesana – Completado
  • Contratación del arquitecto – Contrato preliminar completo; contrato final pendiente de aprobación
  • Plano del sitio y diseño esquemático – Completo y aprobado por la Comisión Diocesana de Construcción/Obispo
  • Aprobación del plan financiero – En proceso; Colaboración con el personal de finanzas diocesano para su revisión
  • Desarrollo del diseño: 2-3 meses, según la parroquia y el arquitecto
  • Aprobación del diseño por la Comisión Diocesana de Construcción/Obispo: noviembre de 2025 [movido a enero de 2026]
  • Documentos detallados de construcción aprobados por la Diócesis: ±3 meses
  • Licitación, negociaciones, contrato y permisos del proyecto: 4-6 meses
  • Construcción y finalización: 12-14 meses
